Tut`s in Danville

Absolutely phenomenal! Food was great, good beer selection, and the baklava was to die for. The service was perfect, especially for someone who had never been to this type of restaurant before. I will definitely be back!

This is a great place for pretty authentic Mediterranean food. It's a little weird, so you might actually think that you are in Cairo. You don't walk in the main door, instead you walk into a hallway like with fridges and the heated food prep area. You choose your items from a menu on a whiteboard, then a can or bottled drink from the fridge (there are a few adult beverages available). The drink thing is the only reason this place didn't get 5 stars from me. The food was GREAT. Really good gyros. The ambiance was Mediterranean and somewhat charming. OK, I have to change the 4-stars to 5 as this place just had great food and friendly people.

Waited 45 min no service. They said cook on break. When we left he was outside smoking

The food was fantastic and much more than we could eat. On this night, we got to enjoy a belly dancing celebration in honor of their two year celebration. Unique spot!

Service was Great but the food was only average. For example the lettuce was rotten.

Delicious food and friendly service. Many good vegetarian options and everything tastes extremely fresh and flavorful. When the weather is nice they place tables outside and it is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch!

Had sweet & spicy chicken. Very tasty, loved the pita bread. Relaxed atmosphere!

Owner and waitress were great food was awesome we sat and talked til 9:30 ( we didn't notice the time) they never rushed us or let us know they were closed like so many other places will for sure be going back also prices were a great value all around wonderful place

First time had a great experience food was delicious...

First time to try the restaurant! I grabbed a takeout order and asked what was recommended. She recommended the Lamb Gyro and the Chicken Tikka kabob. I got an order of both of them and there was no disappointments. Also grabbed an order of Hummus and warmed Pitas! FANTASTIC

Woohoo. Every time I eat here it gets better and better. I really like the unique menu and the exceptional home-made from Mom's recipes fare. If you haven't eaten here you really need too. Simple, delicious and very unique.

Authentic delicious Mediterranean food. Best place to eat in Danville

For all that is good in life, please treat yourself to this restaurant at least once! My wife and I stopped here while passing through town because we love Mediterranean food. We got the Moussaka, grape leaves, and chicken shawarma... Great balls of fire that food was so good I cried a little because I didn't know what else to do! That being said this is my new favorite return spot to eat in town! The owner was there and told us everything there is all family recipes and was super nice! If I could give this place 10 stars for food, atmosphere, and customer friendly service I totally would!

Nice Mediterranean restaurant within walking distance of Centre College. The daily specials are consistently good as are the regular offerings. Reasonable prices.

I liked this a lot. It's a cute little place, but has limited seating. The falafel was great. I suggest extra sauce thiugh. The pita was a bit dry.

This was the first time we had been here. It was by far the best hummus we've ever had, the organic olive oil had a great flavor. Food was very flavorful! We will definitely return.

It was the best free show I've seen in a while. Notice the guy in the black shirt with like six empty chairs beside him. Yeah, he's saving those seats. All of them. My wife were heading back home to Somerset when we googled places to eat in Danville. We had not stopped in Danville to eat in a while so we wanted to Give Tuts a try. So glad we did! Absolutely love the atmosphere! The food was so delicious! Service was super! If you have never came to Tuts and your a local your missing out! We will be back!

11 of us went for lunch 6 of us ended up sick to our stomachs. Unfortunately the food was just okay as well.

I have never had to pay a cover charge to eat at restaurant or have to fight my way to have a seat I got up an left this far from restaurant

Had the chicken shawarma, it was great. The bread was piping hot and I liked the hummus which is uncommon.

Our waitress was great but she had to many to wait on her name Nancy.

Falafel sandwich was good, as was the Turkish coffee. Baba Ganoush was a but too chunky for my taste.

A great place for Egyptian food and the staff are always friendly. The decor is nice and fits the theme.

Went to Tut's last night with my wife for a quick dinner before a movie. It was our first time, and we very much enjoyed it. She got the Chicken Swarma and I got the Lamb kabob. Both were very good. Large portions, with a bed of rice, a salad, and pitta bread. Atmosphere was neat with the Egyptian decor. Only thing I will note, if you are someone who wants everything in elegant detail, you may not like that your food is served on paper plates and you get a can drink. For me, I don't care, the food was really good and the owners are very nice. Will go back.

One of my favorite restaurants in Danville. Tuts Falafel is my all time fav. The Turkish coffee is full of flavor and makes for a great after dinner drink

Had the Lamb Shwarma over rice which was made very quickly. Place is nice, clean and the food is really good as well.

The hummus is well-seasoned and tasty. We also had the dolmas (grape leaves), which were served hot. They had loads of mint and the tzaziki was nice and cooling. Sweet folks, fast service - just lovely.

Really good Egyptian/Mediterranean food in a casual, cozy setting. Menu changes frequently so check their Facebook site. Order on the way in, grab your drink (water, soda, beer, wine, or some more exotic options) and have a seat. Roasted 1/2 chicken on rice with potatoes and salad for 10 and change was spot on. Plenty of vegetarian options as well.

A quality restaurant with good Mediterranean/Egyptian dishes. The owner is friendly! The food is vegetarian friendly too.
